Evenfall is three chips and a button. There is no feed to fall into, no queue to maintain, and nothing to score out of ten.

Who is watching, the mood, and how long you have. Evenfall already knows which services you pay for and which country you are in, so those are not questions.

Three columns of real posters rip past, slow, and lock onto one. The length is fixed, so a slow network makes the picture load later, never the moment arrive later.

Open it on the service that carries it, or shuffle again, save it for later, or mark it as already seen. None of those are rationed.
Where you actually watch
A pick you cannot press play on is not a pick.
Streaming catalogs are national. The same film sits on one service in your country and nowhere at all in the next one. Evenfall works out where you are from your App Store storefront, falls back to your device region, and lets you set it by hand when you travel. It never asks for your location.
Every title it offers is checked against the services you ticked in that country, once when the shortlist is built and again on the film itself before it tells you where to watch. Rental and purchase shops are left out on purpose. The question is what you already pay for every month.
Where the data runs out, it says so. A few countries have no streaming coverage at all in the data behind Evenfall. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are two of them. Rather than invent an answer, the app tells you, and offers to check against a neighbouring catalog you choose.

Saved and watched, in one list, with the search and the swipes you already know from the rest of iOS. Anything the household has seen is out of the running before the wall starts spinning, which is the whole reason the memory exists.

Sign in with Apple, one tap, no password and no email address. Then send a link. On an iPhone with Evenfall installed it opens the app straight at the invitation. On anything else it opens a page with the code on it, ready to type in after installing.
Nothing is joined until the person taps join, and they see whose household it is first.
